    Since the beginning of this year, the Hangwan Power Supply Company has actively advanced smart grid initiatives, coordinating comprehensive grid intelligence upgrades. The company meticulously assessed feeder renovation needs, analyzed technical challenges line by line, and expanded DTU and "three-remote" smart switch coverage through urban grid projects, capacity expansion support, and digital substation upgrades. This laid a solid foundation for achieving full feeder automation (FA) coverage. In May, the company will achieve 100% FA operation, completing a fully self-healing smart grid capable of autonomous fault diagnosis, isolation, and rapid power restoration. The advanced FA system automates the entire process of “fault localization, isolation, and recovery within seconds” without manual intervention, minimizing outages and enhancing grid reliability and safety.
